For how long do worms live?

I am still new to worm farming. The food in my worm farm creates a lot of mold is this safe for the worms or harmful? Is it a result of a to wet environment?

  4. SRK says:

Hi Karen, sorry for the late reply but the blog was not working well.

to answer your question. No the mold is not harmful for your worms but I would suggest that you try to get the bedding a little less wet. Wetness is usually one of the reasons for mold in a worm bin. but as I said it is not harmfull to worms.

    Hello Najwah,

well done. You do have the right approach. We can all make a difference. Every little bit helps.

The Great thing about Bokashi is that you can virtually recycle any organic waste with it.

All the best for your composting project and let us know how you are doing!

Well guys, so I started using my Bokashi bin last night. It is amazing how much I use to waste by just throwing it in the trash.

I just wanted to know if you can throw bones (meat, chicken etc) in the bin as well.
